Recently Read:

Consuming Passions by Judith Flanders (2006) This non fiction book examines the growth of the consumer industry in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Not Quite a Lady by Loretta Chase (2007) The final part of Ms Chase’s quartet about the Carstairs brothers. This is about Darius -- the rake who is a scholar and who must refurbish a ruined estate. A very fun read and one that I enjoyed immensely. But my favorite of her quartet is still Mr. Impossible.

Decency and Disorder The Age of Cant 1789 -1837 by Ben Wilson. This tome examines the changing morals of the period. It is another take on life during the Regency period.
